She noted that her husband used the equity in his home to finance the documentary, but she agreed to the one-year suspension for her child care and support with a monthly income of just $3,200 a month. Her generosity to her adult son, including paying his son’s rent and the gift of a used BMW 328i, allowed Elliot to live in the college community of Isla Vista.
