Vinny Tamburello -The Life story, cold blood murder and delayed justice for Chris Tamburello’s Brother

Vinny Tamburello

Early Life

Vinny Tamburello, born Vincent Tamburello Jr was born on September 12, 1975 to Vincent Tamburello Sr and Ramona Tamburello. He grew up in Charlestown alongside his siblings including his famous movie star brother Chris Tamburello popularly known as CT. Chris Tamburello was born in 1980 becoming the second born in the family. Later on, Jason Tamburello was born and Venessa Tamburello followed, making a family of six in the Tamburello family.

Vinny had a close relationship with his family. However at the age of 17 he would move out, leaving his family to explore to survive by himself. Seven years after moving out, Vinny decided to go back home and started work; restoring houses.

In 2007, he moved to Vermont to continue his house restoration career. In Vermont he met his girlfriend Julie with whom they got pregnant but would suffer miscourage. He proposed to Julie and planned to get married and start a family.

His Muder

While in Vermont, Vinny happened to have some problems with a group of men who reportedly were drug dealers and at the same time District Attorney Informants. A confrontation between Vinny and these guys would be the precursor for his cold blooded murder.

August, 17 2008 would be Vinny’s fateful day. At a local park where a softball tournament was taking place, Vinny was shot in the leg and in the back as he had a confrontation with the group. He had destroyed the truck of one of the members named Bolaski’s with a hammer after which Bolaski grabbed a hunting rifle and shot him. That wasn’t all, the group went ahead to hit him with the same rifle that shot him and kicked him while he lay helpless.

When the police arrived at the scene Vinny had not died, it was upon arrival at the hospital that he was pronounced dead.

Delayed or denied Justice?

Vinny’s murder stunned everyone and there was hope that justice would be served as soon as posible. Unfortunately, that wasn’t to be the case. Vinny’s case became more complicated than everyone had expected. There was particular outrage towards DA Robert Sand who was accused of abuse of office as he did all he could do to deny Tamburello’s family justice.

Outrage towards Robert Sand led to his ousting. There was once again hope for justice when the suspect was sentenced for 25 years. That didn’t last long since Robert Sand reappeared and there was an appeal by the suspect that did not only reverse the 25 year sentence but also set him free.

Tamburello’s family and supporters didn’t give up. More than a decade later after so much fight, justice was served. The perpetrator, Bolaski was sentenced for a maximum of 15 years after a plea deal. He had already served half of that time prior to the plea deal.

The justice seemed insufficient but it was but it was better than letting the killer roam free.
