There are countless teen dramas available on different television channels and OTT platforms. However, Trinkets isn’t just any other teen drama. This American television series has been inspired by a 2013 novel which was written by Kirsten Smith, under the same name. The series revolves around three friends who have completely different personalities, but the one thing they share commonly is their habit of shoplifting which keeps them together. Gradually, they come closer and maintain their friendship a secret.

Trinkets was created by Smith, Amy Andelson, and Emily Meyer. The series was streamed on Netflix on June 14, 2019, and in July 2019, Trinkets was renewed for a second season. Its second season premiered on August 25, 2020.

Plot:

Trinkets is the story of three teenagers who are completely different from each other in terms of their personalities. They share the habit of shoplifting which binds them together. They manage to keep their friendship a secret and help each other to surpass each difficulty in life.

Ever since the second season of Trinkets went off the air, its fans have been waiting for the release of its third season. Makers of the show haven’t yet confirmed the news of them working in renewing the series for its third season.
