The zoo is one such American drama television series that has been inspired by a novel of the same name which was written by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge and was launched in 2012.

The story revolves around several incidents of violent animal attacks on humans, across the globe. The growing cases of attacks soon turn into a pandemic and people are furious about the cause behind them. A team of professionals that includes a zoologist, a safari guide, a reporter, a veterinary pathologist, and an intelligence agent is sent to investigate the underlying causes.

Plot:

Across the globe, countless cases of animals brutally attacking humans, come to light. When the severity of the condition is realized, a team of professionals that includes a zoologist, a safari guide, a reporter, a veterinary pathologist, and an intelligence agent is sent to investigate the underlying causes. 

The story unfolds with the team experiencing new adventures and threats and how they use their intelligence and presence of mind to tackle the challenges.

Will there be a season 4?

On 23 October 2017, CBS informed that the makers of the show had canceled its fourth season. A major reason behind this was believed to be the fact that the audience and the rating of the show had been falling uncontrollably. Therefore, as of now, there is no hope for season 4 of Zoo.
