Vagabond season 2 Release Date

Story plot

The story of Vagabond revolves around the character Cha Dal-gun, an underrated stuntman. Other than his profession, he also has a responsibility for his nephew Cha Hoon. He is an orphan. Even though both have a good bond with each other, still, Cha gets involved in an argument with his uncle before leaving for Morocco. But before his plane is about to leave, a video featuring Cha himself is sent to Dal-gun, motivating him to pursue his goal of becoming a Taekwondo master. 

But there comes shocking news about a plane crash following a structural malfunction showing the death of two-hundred civilians. Dal-gun becomes disturbed and shocked since it is the same airplane where his nephew was traveling to visit Morocco. His life becomes upturned and reaches Morocco to attend the funeral ceremony of plane crash victims. There he grieves for the untimely demise of his young nephew. 

Before he arrives at home, Dal-gun identifies a deceased passenger from the recorded video sent by his nephew. After he meets with him, he finds out that the incident of a plane crash is not an accidental case. When Dal-gun makes an effort in finding out the evidence, he is surprised to notice that they are erased mysteriously. Moreover, his life comes at a risk, during his attempts to tell others that the plane did not crash accidentally. 

Now the situation took a more difficult turn, and Dal-gun had to push himself into becoming a partner with Go Hae-ri from the National Intelligence Service. But she has her own selfish motives in getting a promotion. Dal-gun is determined to find out the truth at any cost. And so with the help of Hae-ri, he gets deeper into the matter to dig out the truth and gets entangled into a dark world of corruption. 

Briefing about the main star cast of Vagabond

Lee Seung-gi

Lee Seung-gi plays the leading character Cha Dal-gun in the South Korean series Vagabond. He is shown as a stuntman who shared a good rapport with his nephew until he died in a plane crash going to Morocco. Dal-gun partners with Bae to dig out the actual reality behind this crash. While exploring, he finds out the dark web of corruption involving government and terrorists. 

Lee is proficient in singing, acting, and hosting. Other than Vagabond, you must have watched him playing the character of Monkey King in another highly hit Korean series, A Korean Odyssey. But other than that, he is known for his other notable roles in other Korean TV series including You’re All Surrounded, Brilliant Legacy, Gu Family Book, and My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho

The Korean actor has been listed among the highest-paid South Korean actors in 2021. His name also appeared in the Korea Power Celebrity list by Forbes. After leaving Hook entertainment in 2021 on 1st June, Lee Seung-gi laid his foundation called Human Made.

Bae Suzy

Bae Suzy plays the character of Hae-ri, an agent from the National Intelligence Service. She aims to work as a civil servant to feed her family but later becomes a secret operative. With her help, Dal-gun wants to draw out the truth behind the plane crash, which is framed as an accidental tragedy but in reality, it is not.

Bae is a beautiful actress-singer and model from South Korea. Born in 1994 on 10th October, she started her entertainment career with the TV series Dream High and followed with more good roles in While You Were Sleeping, Gu Family Book, and Start Up. Bae also made her debut in the Korean film Architecture 101. The film came nine years ago. 

With her debut success, she was termed ‘The Nation’s First Love’ in her home country South Korea. In 2016 on September 13, she posed with her wax figure in Hong Kong. And for your information, Bae is the first celebrity (female) from South Korea to have her wax replica at Madame Tussauds. 

Will there be a second season of Vagabond?

Those who find Korean dramas more engaging must be curious about the release of season 2 of Vagabond. The reason behind the likeliness of Korean shows is their gripping story content and mindblowing plots. This makes them drive maximum viewer traffic across the world. Now coming to the second installment of Vagabond, no official confirmation from the show makers has come yet. 

Well, no need to get disheartened since it is not a new case when the follow-up of the TV series does take a long hiatus to come. Even though there is no official announcement, still, it is pretty much a possibility that Vagabond will come back with its second installment owing to its global popularity.
